Project Director's Message

Happy New Year! May 2012 be an excellent year for all! I am Loo Wen Bin, the Project Director of NUS Geography Challenge 2012, in short GC2012.

The theme for GC2012 is "Sketching Singapore: Our Urban Playground". We hope to explore the concept of urban re-imaging, and how it is vividly portrayed through various aspects in the local context. Also, we wish to encourage students to further evaluate the difficulties and challenges of urban planning faced by relevant authorities and organizations, so as to uphold Singapore's prestigious status of a world-class city.

My team and I are very excited about this year's GC and we hope you can join us in exploring the beauties and wonders of our magnificent urban jungle!
